Wave Editor is an easy-to-use application that helps you polish your favorite tunes by using its efficient editing utilities. Supporting a wide range of audio formats, this program lets you add various effects to your songs, insert silence sections, cut tunes, reverse audio content, and many more.
In my opinion, this application was designed to meet the needs of beginner users as its audio editing tools are basic and very simple to configure. Sadly, advanced utilities, such as tempo changer, audio splicer (join audio files) or voice recorder, are missing from this program.
Although Wave Editor supports a wide variety of input formats, when it comes to saving the results, you get to choose between only two audio formats, MP3 and WAV. This aspect might prove to be quite annoying at some point.
Another thing that bothers me about using this program is the fact that in the Tools menu you can see five audio tools. The listed utilities aren't available within this application, you need to download them from the homepage of the developer.
To conclude, if you're looking for a basic audio editing program, Wave Editor might do the trick since it offers high-quality results with little effort. If not, I suggest you to try more advanced applications that provide professional audio editing tools.
